A glam look is not created by a magic wand, it's the perfected the art of makeup.
From hiding scars to getting rid of puffy eyes, makeup artists always have something up there sleeve to make the client look radiant.
Here are few industry tricks and tips for eye makeup that I am sharing:
Puffy Eyes
One of the biggest dilemma for everyone is puffy eyes due to either lack of sleep, fatigue and dehydration. There are numerous reasons for puffy eyes, which I will cover in a future blog. Best tip to make your eyes not look puffy and make your eye makeup stand out.
Eye masks really work wonders instantly to depuff, to name a few that I personally use and recommend Starskin VIP, Skin chemists and Undereye collagen patches from Amazon.
If you do not have any of these eye masks in hand. Worry not I got you, apply eye cream let it sit for few seconds. Use quartz eye roller that has been previously refrigerated to massage around the eye area. Cooling effect of roller, caffeine & hydration in the eye cream and the gentle massage of the roller will instantly reduce the puffing down.
Shape Eyebrows
It's very important that you fill in your eyebrows with eyebrow pencil or eyebrow pomade. Eyebrows frame your face and that's why this step should never be skipped.
If by any chance you don't have either then you can always use matte eyeshadow to fill in your eyebrows.
Trick is to get eyeshadow on tapered brush and tap it before filling in your eyebrows. You don't fill eyebrows like you are colouring them in, instead is light strokes in the direction of your hair.
Master Eyeliner
One of the most asked question is how do I master the eyeliner. Best eye makeup tip for eyeliner is to work with three dot rule start eyeliner, first dot where your eye starts , middle dot where your eyebrow arch is or when you look straight your eyeball will be and last dot where your eye ends.
Combine all these three dots together and you are following the shape of your eye. How thick you want your eyeliner is your choice. If you want to add a flick at the end then at the last dot just click the eyeliner towards your eyebrow.
To prevent your brush from slipping always apply mascara first, allow it to dry and that will work as anchor for your liner. There you have a mistake free line quickly and easily.
